BONDERITE® L-FG RD 5 (also known as Acheson RD-5) is a forging lubricant suitable for a range of metalworking operations, including hot forging of ferrous metals.  BONDERITE® L-FG RD 5 water-based graphite lubricant forms a uniform coating for excellent lubrication and protection from heavy wear and high temperatures.

BONDERITE® L-FG RD 5 comes as a concentrate form that can be diluted with water. The concentrate should be agitated prior to and during the dilution process. The recommended starting dilution is 1:5 (BONDERITE® L-FG RD 5:water) but can vary depending on application requirements and will need to be determined during production.
